Psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Children’s Self-Report Social Skills Scale

The factor structure, psychometric properties, and utility of the Children’s Self-Report Social Skills Scale (CS⁴) developed by Danielson and Phelps (2003) was investigated for the first time with a Turkish sample. Translation and back-translation did not reveal any specific problems. Results suggested that the Turkish translation of the CS4 is a reliable instrument for the assessment of children’s social skills.
