Since 1973, Social Behavior and Personality: an international journal (SBP Journal) has published over the years the work of over 5,500 researchers from more than 50 countries. There are 10 issues per year, published online and in print. Many thousands of expert peer reviewers and an experienced team of 14 people make possible the publication of the journal. They are assisted by a Board of Consulting Editors of pre-eminent social psychology scholars, including Albert Bandura, Stanford University; Donn Byrne, State University of New York at Albany; Edward de Bono, London, England; Anthony N. Professor of Human Development (from reader), The University of the South Pacific: Suva, Fiji 1978–1990.
  • Responsibility for and development of 100-level on-campus and extra-mural human development course for USP (EDI51). This was a very popular course across the 12-nation region of the university. 
  • Supervision and teaching of MA and PhD students in human development and educational research. 
  • Responsibility for and development of 300-level on-campus and extra-mural educational research course (ED359).
  • Teaching of other courses such as Educational Research, General Psychology and Educational Measurement. 
  • Chairman, School of Education Research Committee, 1979–1980. 
  • Honored with a promotion in 1988 by the USP Council to a Personal Professorship in Human Development. Consulted by the university in this process were Professor Jerome Bruner, previously of Harvard and Oxford Universities, Professor Warwick Elley, University of Canterbury and Professor Roland Farrant previously of Laurentian University.

Acting Vice-Chancellor (Acting President) on a number of occasions (including a period of 1.5 months in 1984). The University had 270 academic, 370 support staff, and 8,500 students, including 2,300 on campus.

PhD Massey University, New Zealand (1968–1970). Cultural dimensions: Factor analysis of textor's 'A cross-cultural summary'. A report from the work was published as a book by the New Haven, Connecticut Human Relations Area Piles in the HRAFIex series. The dissertation itself has also been published in the ProQuest program (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA) and reports on aspects of the work appeared in the journal, Personality and Behavioral Science Notes (Yale Human Relations Area Files).

Department of Social Relations and the Laboratory of Human Development in the Graduate School of Education, Human Development, and Social Relations. Included proseminars in Statistics and Educational Measurement, Opinion and Mass Communication, Educational Research, and Learning.
