Although entrepreneurial well-being is a crucial determinant of the sustainability of entrepreneurial activities, the absence of standardized measurement tools has resulted in inconsistent and even contradictory research findings. Thus, in this study we explored the connotation and structure of entrepreneurial well-being using the grounded theory research method. In addition, we conducted a factor analysis to establish an appropriate measurement scale consisting of 12 items spanning three dimensions: subjective, psychological, and social well-being. The Entrepreneurial Well-Being Scale we developed provides the academic community with a means to measure entrepreneurial well-being, thereby aiding the development of relevant empirical research.
